Job Summary
The Human Resources (HR) Intern helps with various HR functions, fostering employment engagement and contributes to the operation of the HR department during the summer period. The successful candidate will support the HR department in meeting the needs with the community and administration.
Responsibilities
The HR Intern will:
- Provide general support to the HR Officer;
- Assist in the preparation, writing, reviewing, editing, and compiling of documents;
- Update job descriptions and job postings as required;
- Support new employee onboarding;
- Support with updating and developing HR procedures and policies;
- Respond to employee requests or redirecting them to the right personnel;
- Act as the first point of contact for any IT issues and dispatch when required.
Requirements
The Intern must have a high school diploma and be a full-time post-secondary student.
- The candidate must be fluent in spoken and written English. Knowledge of French will be an asset;
- Have computer skills;
- Have interpersonal skills;
- Must have experience in administration work;
- Must be organized and have excellent time management skills;
- Be confidential.
