Owawi Resources is hiring 6 manual fellers (lumberjacks) for a one-week work opportunity near Kawawachikamach starting June 8, 2026.
Naskapis and Innus are prioritized for these positions. Training is provided at hiring, so this is a good opportunity for those interested in developing skills in the forestry and mining sectors.
About the Position
Manual fellers will work outdoors developing access routes to mining exploration sites. The work combines training with hands-on experience in the territory near Kawawachikamach.
Duration and Schedule
The position includes 3 days of training followed by 1 week of work in the territory. This is a short-term opportunity ideal for those looking to gain experience or earn income during the summer season.
Training Provided
All candidates will receive training at no cost:
- Secure Manual Feller training (16 hours)
- ATV safe driving training (8 hours)
