The Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Bingo Helpers to assist in running our bingo nights twice a week. This is a great opportunity to be part of a community-focused event while supporting important fundraising efforts.

Position: Bingo Helpers
Location: Naskapi Radio
Employment Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Tuesdays and Fridays (Evenings)

Responsibilities

As a Bingo Helper, you’ll play an important role in making sure bingo nights run smoothly:

  • Assisting in selling Bingo Cards
  • Monitoring game progress and helping call numbers
  • Ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and guidelines
  • Assisting participants with questions or concerns
  • Keeping the event space clean and organized
  • Helping distribute winnings and safeguarding funds

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable in a lively, social environment

Working Conditions

This role involves working evenings, primarily on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:00 pm – 9:30 pm.
