I give notice to the electors of the Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach that a general election has been called for the offices on the Council of the Nation, namely:

  • ᐃᔪᒋᒪᐤ Chief;
  • ᐛᔅᑕᔅᑯᐛᑦ ᐃᔪᒋᒪᐛ Deputy Chief
  • ᐱᑕᑕᒡ ᐃᔪᒋᒪᑲᓐᒡ Five (5) Councillors.

A meeting of the electors to receive nominations of candidates for such offices shall be held in the Naskapi Community Centre in Category IA-N land on the 17th day of July 2024, commencing at 7:00 O’clock in the Afternoon.
