Overview

Kawawachikamach Energy Services Inc (KESI) is seeking a Transportation and Logistics Coordinator to manage and execute transportation services between Schefferville Airport and the Menihek Generating Station in Western Labrador. The role also includes providing local transportation within the Schefferville area and handling the pick-up and delivery of food and materials as required.

Responsibilities

  • Transport personnel between Schefferville Airport and Menihek Generating Station.
  • Provide local transportation in Schefferville for materials procurement and personnel transit.
  • Pick-up and deliver freight at Schefferville Airport and deliver to Tshiuetin station.
  • Procure and deliver food and materials to the Menihek Generating Station.
  • Maintain detailed work slips and compile monthly reports on services provided.
  • Ensure proper communication means between Schefferville and the Menihek Generating Station.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in transportation and logistics coordination.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to manage transportation services in winter and inclement weather conditions.
  • Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
  • Ability to transport groups of up to 10 personnel, including luggage and tools.
  • Appropriate insurances for transportation of personnel (proof required prior to commencement).

Terms and Conditions

  • Fee Schedule: Time & Materials basis, not exceeding $150,000.
  • Vehicle Rates: Inclusive of fuel and driver (no overtime rates applicable).
  • Renewal Option: Potential for renewal upon agreement.

Compensation

  • Labour Rate: TBD based on resources.
  • Vehicle Rate: TBD, inclusive of fuel and driver.
  • Reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses at cost + 10%.

Additional Information

  • Weekly updates provided by the client to aid in planning.
  • Updated contact information will be supplied by the client.
  • Invoices submitted monthly, due net 30 days.
