There is funding available for projects for our youngest children, and the community gets a say in where it goes. Tonight, Wednesday, August 12, the Indigenous Early Learning and Child Care Committee is holding a community meeting to talk through project ideas for Naskapi children aged 0 to 6. All parents and community members are welcome.
When and where
Date: Wednesday, August 12
Time: 6:00 to 7:30 PM
Location: Naskapi Community Center (NCC)
What it is about
The Indigenous Early Learning and Child Care Committee has funding for projects that support our children from birth to age six. This meeting is a chance to hear about the ideas already on the table, to suggest your own, or just to come and listen. If you have a thought about what would help our little ones, bring it.
Come and take part
All are welcome. Bring an idea, or just come to listen. And come hungry, there will be free pizza.
