Six people stand in a row in front of a large photo mural of mountains and a fjord, with a blue flag and a red and white flag on poles behind them. Chief Louise Nattawappio stands third from the left, in a black blazer and beaded necklace, and Councillor Timothy Pien stands at the far right in a grey sweater and cap.

The Cree, Inuit and Naskapi Forum met once again on Thursday, October 15, 2026. This latest gathering allowed us to continue strengthening dialogue and collaboration among our three Nations.

Chief Louise Nattawappio and Councillor Timothy Pien were among those representing the Naskapi Nation at the meeting.

The Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach remains committed to working closely with our Cree and Inuit partners toward common positions and meaningful, long-term solutions that reflect the interests and aspirations of our Nations, while supporting Indigenous self-determination in Northern Quebec.
