Our water comes from the land around us, and looking after it is everyone’s work. Come to the Community BBQ and Tour for the Naskapi Source Water Protection Plan on Wednesday, September 23, and see where our drinking water comes from.

Location: Naskapi Pump House, by the baseball field
What is happening
There will be a BBQ, and a tour of the pump house so you can see for yourself how our water is drawn and treated before it reaches our homes.
There will also be prizes and water bottles to take home.
Everyone is welcome
Elders, youth, and adults are all encouraged to attend. Come and eat with us, take the tour, and ask your questions.
About the plan
The Naskapi Source Water Protection Plan is about keeping our homeland water safe: protecting the lakes and land our drinking water comes from, so it stays clean for the people coming after us.
