Following negotiations between the Naskapi Nation and Gestion Porlier, an agreement has been reached to purchase several residential properties in Schefferville.
A community meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Naskapi Community Center to present the project and answer questions. Dinner will be provided.
This is an important opportunity for community members to learn about the purchase and how it will benefit our Nation. We encourage elders, youth, and adults to attend and participate in the discussion.
