The Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach is currently seeking a camp worker to help support a cultural site project taking place next week.

This is a paid opportunity and an important role in helping ensure the work at the cultural site runs smoothly and safely. We are looking for someone dependable who is comfortable assisting with hands on tasks in an outdoor setting.

What the role involves

The camp worker will help with day to day support activities, including:

  • Assisting with making and maintaining fire
  • Getting and carrying water
  • Fetching tools and needed supplies
  • Helping with heavy lifting as required

This role is well-suited for someone who is physically capable, flexible, and willing to help wherever needed to support the team on-site.
