The Essimau Winter Carnival returns in March 2026 with one of its most anticipated events; the 3rd Annual Essimau Winter Carnival Volleyball Tournament.
Taking place from March 16 to 19, 2026, this tournament will be held at the John Pien Memorial Gymnasium (JSMS) and will bring together teams from across the region for several days of competitive and community focused volleyball.
The tournament includes three categories:
- Mixed teams
- Women’s teams
- Men’s teams
Each category is limited to a maximum of 6 teams, so early registration is strongly encouraged.
The registration fee is $500 per team.
This event is part of the larger Essimau Winter Carnival and is an opportunity for players, supporters, and community members to come together, celebrate sport, and honor the spirit of friendly competition during winter in Kawawachikamach.
