A controlled blast is scheduled to take place in Timmins 3 North Pit on Tuesday December 09, 2025 at 03:00 PM.
The company has confirmed that the Timmins 3 Lunchroom falls within the 500 meter blast radius. Staff working in that area will be evacuated ahead of the blast as a safety precaution.
A blast clearance map was provided to show the affected zone and the coordinates of the blast location.
