Residents; hunters; and campers should be aware that Tata Steel Minerals Canada will be carrying out a planned blast in the Fleming 7 Pit on Monday November 24; 2025; at 3 PM. This work is part of regular mining operations and helps keep the site running safely.
A new blast radius map has been shared that shows the updated safety zones for this blast. The map outlines the 500 meter and 300 meter clearance areas along with pit limits and any blocked or snowed-in access points. Please review it and avoid the marked zones during the blast window.
