The Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach would like to let everyone know about the upcoming nominations and elections for our Community Committees.
This is a chance for Naskapi members to take part in guiding the programs and activities that help our people. By joining a committee, you can share ideas, make decisions, and support projects that bring our community together.
What You Need to Know:
- Nominations: You can suggest the names of people you think would do a good job serving on a committee.
- Elections: After nominations are finished, the community will vote to choose the members.
- Who Can Join: All Naskapi Nation members are welcome to take part. You can nominate someone, stand as a candidate, or simply come out to vote.
Why This Matters:
Community Committees are important because they help plan events, cultural activities, and other projects that strengthen who we are as a Nation. When more people get involved, we make sure the work reflects the needs of everyone.
