About the Taasipitaakin Trust

The Trust’s Board consists of seven trustees:

  • One Councillor appointed by the Council.
  • Two ex officio members, serving by virtue of their employment positions.
  • Three elected members are chosen by Naskapi Electors.

The three elected trustee positions open for nominations are:

  • Trustee for Youth (ages 18–35 at the start of the two-year mandate).
  • Trustee for Elders (ages 50+ at the start of the three-year mandate).
