REQUIREMENTS
- 5-year experience
- Must hold a valid CNESST card;
- Good communication skills, oral and written;
- Ability to work independently and alongside other technicians (e.g., Electricians)
- Ability to work in all types of weather when needed.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Director of Public Works, the Plumber will undertake duties, as follows:
- Provide general residential and commercial plumbing services;
- Ability for On-site diagnostics;
- Install, maintain, and repair different piping systems, fixtures, and other equipment used to distribute, supply, or dispose of water. (e.g., hot water, septic, dishwashers, etc.);
- Install bathroom and kitchen fixtures, including sinks, toilets, dishwashers, etc.;
- Install/repair piping valves made of metals such as iron, steel, lead, or copper and non-metallic materials such as plastic, glass, or vitrified clay;
- Ensure compliance with agreed codes, legislation, and procedures, including health and safety;
- Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor(s).
