The Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach invites community members to attend a Water Action Plan Community Meeting on February 11 at 5:30 PM at the Naskapi Community Center.
This meeting is an opportunity to come together and talk about how we can protect and restore our homeland’s water. Water is central to our way of life, our health, and our future, and this session will focus on listening, sharing knowledge, and discussing next steps for caring for our lakes, rivers, and surrounding lands.
Elders, youth, and adults are all encouraged to attend. Your voices, experiences, and concerns matter, and this meeting is meant to be inclusive and community-driven.
To support participation, dinner will be provided.
