The Naskapi Nation has been advised that Tata Steel Minerals Canada will be carrying out a blast in Timmins 3 South Pit on Friday December 05 2025 at 03:00 PM.
There is no evacuation required for this blast.
However; the road going to camp is inside the blast radius and will be closed for about 30 minutes during the blasting period.
Residents; hunters; and workers traveling in the area should plan around this temporary closure.
