The Naskapi Nation invites all community members to join us for our Collaborative Mapping Session, where we’ll work together to identify abandoned sites around Kawawachikamach. Please note that the location has changed. The session will now take place at the NDC Office.

We’ll be documenting areas around the community where scrap metal; unused vehicles; industrial debris; and other waste have accumulated. Your knowledge is important; it helps build an accurate list of sites that need cleanup and guides our next steps.
On the agenda:
- Mapping known abandoned sites
- Validating identified locations
- Discussing next steps for cleanup
- Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
