We invite all community members—especially our respected elders—to a special presentation on how Elder’s Committees function, taking place at the Naskapi Community Center on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 1:30 PM.
We are honoured to welcome Johnny and Louisa Saganash from Waswanipi, who will be sharing their knowledge and experience about the role and purpose of Elder’s Committees in their own community. This gathering is an important opportunity to begin discussions about establishing a similar committee here in Kawawachikamach.
