Looking for a chance to work outdoors and build practical skills this summer—close to home? Cupani Metals is now hiring Field Technicians for the 2025 summer season at their Blue Lake Project, just north of Schefferville.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mineral exploration in the traditional territory of the Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach. Work will be based in the Réty Lake area, accessed by helicopter or seaplane, and will include a range of field tasks such as:

  • Participating in geological mapping walks
  • Assisting with trenching work
  • Clearing and cutting ATV trails
  • Helping set up and support the exploration camp
  • Supporting the drilling programs

Why Apply?

  • Earn a starting wage of $270/day (more based on experience)
  • Meals and lodging included at camp
  • Transportation to and from camp provided
  • No prior experience required—training will be provided
  • Work rotations of up to 23 days on / 12 days off (flexible)

This seasonal job may continue into the fall depending on project progress, and it’s a great way to try something new, explore your interest in geology or environmental work, and be part of a respectful and collaborative exploration team in your own region.
