Seeing so many of our elders traveling to Unamen Shipu to attend the Annual Inter-Tribal Elders Gathering was so good. Listening and learning from others’ teachings, discussions on language, culture, and way of life and how to preserve them.
In 2024, Kawawachikamach will be honoured to host the Elders Gathering on our own land. We have already begun preparing, and are so excited for the next one.
