Hunters, campers, and anyone traveling in the area are advised that a controlled blast is scheduled for the Timmins 3 South Pit on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
The blast area includes surrounding land and access routes that hunters and campers may use. For safety reasons, no one should be within the blast radius during this time. The road is within the blast radius and will be closed for approximately 30 minutes during the blast.
Anyone in the area is asked to plan accordingly and avoid the site until the blast is complete and the area is cleared and safe. Please share this information with others who may be hunting, camping, or traveling nearby.
