A beautiful new welcome sign is being installed along Kawawachikamach Highway, marking the entrance to the Naskapi Nation. The structure, inspired by traditional wooden frameworks, features the Naskapi logo and syllabics, our flag, along with a silhouette of a caribou.
The installation process involves carefully lifting and securing the large wooden beams into place. Once complete, the sign will greet all who arrive in Kawawachikamach, serving as a warm and powerful introduction to the Nation and its people.
