The Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach invites all community members to attend an important meeting with Hydro-Québec on Thursday, November 6 at 4:00 p.m. at the Naskapi Community Centre.
The discussion will focus on outstanding Hydro-Québec electricity bills and provide an opportunity for residents to share their questions, experiences, and concerns.
The session will be facilitated by François Rolland, O.C., Ad.E., former Chief Justice of the Superior Court of Québec. Appointed by Hydro-Québec as an independent facilitator, Mr. Rolland’s role is to help find solutions that support economic reconciliation between Hydro-Québec and First Nations and Inuit communities.
Everyone is encouraged to attend and take part in this important conversation. Snacks will be served during the meeting.
