The Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach is proud to celebrate the achievements of Jimmy Sandy Memorial School (JSMS) students at the Provincial Aboriginal Science Fair in Whapmagoostui/Kuujuarapik.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Science Fair, and JSMS has participated for nearly two decades, consistently bringing home awards. In 2011, Kawawachikamach had the honor of hosting the event, and the school’s success continues to grow each year.

This year, Aiden James and Nikshan Gauthier-André were recognized multiple times, each earning three awards and securing first place in their respective categories. 🥇🥇

Their achievements reflect the hard work, dedication, and support of their families, teachers, and community. Congratulations to all the students and staff who made this success possible! 🎉
